Young Performers CHAMBER MUSIC Workshop
Spring 2015

Described as "a sparkling diamond of an experience," the Young Performers Workshop is a chamber music program that gives young musicians the invaluable experience of collaborating directly with one another. Students are grouped by level. Over the course of eight sessions, they work with coaches to play a major work of the chamber music repertory while developing crucial skills of musicianship, such as rehearsal techniques, listening, and how to communicate musical ideas with movement. The Workshop will take place in Winston Salem, and culminate in a public performance at the Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Lewisville, North Carolina.

Eligibility: Player of strings, woodwinds, and piano, ages 11 through 19.
Apply via audition, by March 1, 2015.

Selected Saturdays from March 7 to May 16, 2015
