YOUNG PERFORMERS WORKSHOP Celebrates 10 Years

The Young Performers Chamber Music Workshop was established in 2006 by cellist and artistic director Grace Anderson, who has recently received nomination for Swalin Best Educator Award by the North Carolina Symphony. The Workshop teaches young musicians how to collaborate directly with one another and lead effective rehearsals, with emphasis on listening, analysis, and communication. Participants have hailed from across North Carolina; former participants have gone on to form chamber ensembles of their own. This Fall, the Young Performers Workshop will take place from September 19 to November 14 on selected Saturdays and culminate in a public concert.
